This newly created society aims to encourage research and knowledge exchange to improve the understanding of, and prevent diseases associated with, viruses transmitted via the environment and food.
The Society will link researchers from academia with actors from industry and policy decision makers, to promote research in the field, and to cooperatively meet the ongoing challenges of Food and Environmental Virology.
These are exciting times for the Food and Environmental virology and hopefully, with the contribution from all of you we will develop and increase our knowledge in the field.
The last congress of the society was the 8th ISFEV Conference, held in Tokyo, Japan, on June 9–14, 2024. We are now preparing the next congress, which will be held in Athens, Greece, on September 6–10, 2026 (Next Conferences).
Within the society we will arrange other activities like web classes, training schools, joint initiatives. Let’s all work together to achieve our common goals.
